TERMS & CONDITIONS & HIRE AGREEMENT FOR THE BEACH HUTS, CAMBER SANDS.
WE REQUIRE THAT OUR GUESTS READ AND SIGN THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS WHICH SHOULD BE
READ IN CONJUCTION WITH AND FORM PART OF THE BOOKING CONDITIONS.
IF WE CANNOT HONOUR YOUR BOOKING DUE TO A NATIONAL LOCKDOWN A CHANGE OF DATES WILL BE OFFERED OR A FULL REFUND.
ALL OTHER CANCELLATIONS/CHANGES SEE OUR BOOKING CONDITIONS.
We continue to work with our normal terms of business and below is our cancellation policy. Please be aware that moving the date to a different week could result in a change in price which could be either more than the previously quoted booking price and this different price will be applied to your booking.
If you develop symptoms during your stay, you will be required to return home immediately for both your own safety, and for the safety of other holiday makers, local teams and local communities and stay in your own home while you self isolate.
The Beach Huts do not accept any responsibility for any matters beyond our control or for any COVID –19 related matters that occur whilst you are staying in the property.
If you or any member of your party develop symptoms before your holiday, it is important that you stay at home and do not travel.
Covid 19 - Property Cleaning
Your holiday accommodation will be cleaned in accordance with Covid 19 Government Guidelines
- All hard surfaces disinfected.
- All fabric surfaces sprayed with suitable disinfectant spray
- All floors cleaned with appropriate cleaning agents
- Soft furnishings vacuumed and sprayed
- All crockery, cutlery, pots and pans cleaned in dishwasher or washed in hot soapy water
- Key safes have been disinfected
- Cleaning materials are available for you to use..
Number of Persons
The maximum number of persons allowed in each Beach Hut is six and should not be exceeded under any circumstances.
The managers are located in Camber and can make spot checks if it is believed there are more persons than on your booking form and your
holiday will be ended immediately.
Occupation and Departure
Unless otherwise agreed the normal time of check in is after 3pm on the first day of hire.
Departure must be by 10am on the last day of hire, the cleaners will have the right to entry from 10.00am.
The next holiday makers will be arriving so the chalet MUST be vacated for 10am or a charge of £20 per hour will be deducted from your damage deposit.
All personal items will be discarded by our housekeepers during the clean. If items have been forgotten please inform us immediately.
Any personal items left in the hut can be shipped. There is a £25 administration fee plus postage.
Smoking & Vaping
Please note smoking & vaping is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN in The Beach Huts and within 2 meters of any open door or window.
Your damage deposit will be forfeited if it is found that guests have smoked or vaped in the chalet.
Please note electric cars are NOT to be charged at the huts.
Management are on site at all times and if you are seen charging your
car your damage deposit will be forfeited.
All Beach Hut keys are to be collected from the key safes.
If keys are not returned on checkout The Beach Huts will expect them to be returned within 2 working days (SIGNED FOR NEXT DAY DELIVERY)
to Emma Nutt, The Beach Huts, Park Dean Resorts, New Lydd Road, Camber Sands, East Sussex TN31 7RT
and a £45 administration fee will be charged from your deposit.
Keys that fail to arrive back within this time will be charged accordingly from your damage deposit to a lock change on The Beach Hut.
The hirer is responsible for the house and its equipment during the period of the hire and is expected to take good care of it and leave everything
as found on arrival.
You must not use the property for any dangerous, offensive, noxious, noisy or immoral activities, or carry on there any act that may be a nuisance or annoyance to the owner or any neighbouring properties.
The beach huts are let fully furnished.
Bed linen is provided unless otherwise stated but NO TOWELS ARE PROVIDED.
The hirer undertakes to report and pay for ALL damage caused to the house or for equipment lost, damaged, broken or stolen during their occupancy of the house.
All the equipment, utensils etc must be left in a clean condition at the end of the hire period.
None of the items maybe removed from the property during occupancy.
The property is to be left clean and tidy as it was found.
Any excess cleaning will be charged from the damage deposit.
A deposit of 30% of the total rental charge is required as a booking payment. Payment can be made by bank transfer or card payment.. Until confirmation and clearance of payment The Beach Huts and the dates are still available. Receipt of this payment will confirm the booking and is fully refundable if for any reason The Beach Hut cannot confirm the booking. Once The Beach Huts have confirmed your booking you are responsible for the whole of the hire terms. The balance of the hire & refundable damage deposit must be paid to The Beach Huts no later than 8 weeks prior to the date of the start of the hire period. If the final payment is overdue by 7 days the booking will be cancelled and dates re-advertised and original deposits will be forfeited.
Damage deposits of £150 are required should there be any damage, breakages, missing items, excessive mess which requires extra cleaning, to any part of the property or contents, you will be notified of amounts and the balance (if any) then returned to you. If the damage exceeds the damage deposit amount the hirer will be responsible to pay the FULL balance of the damage within 14 days of demand. Damage deposits are returned should the property be left in the state it was found and no damage, breakages or loss to anything in the house. This takes up to 10 working days after your departure. All damages MUST be reported to The Beach Huts.
If a booking is made less than 8 weeks before the start date full payment is due.
If you wish to cancel the booking you must immediately notify The Beach Huts in writing.
In all cases of cancellation the deposit is forfeited and in the event that cancellation is made less than 8 weeks prior to the date of the commencement of the holiday the whole of the balance of the rental charge is non refundable.
Only the hirer & their family can take the paid holiday.
You must not sub-let the property or allow anyone to stay at the property who is not included on the booking form without prior permission from us. If another guest is found to of stayed that is not on the booking form a fee of £50 per person will be deducted from your damage deposit.
The hirer cannot change the guests details without prior agreement and acceptance with the owner.
The owner holds the right to decline any name changes at any point in the booking.
Dates can be transferred but only before the full balance has been paid and a £45 admin fee is payable.
The owners do not accept any liability for loss of or damage to personal effects, baggage or any other item belonging to the hirer or to any member of the hirer’s party, except in so far as the loss or damage arises from a substantial defect or damage known to the owners or which should have been known to the owners. Save as aforesaid and without prejudice thereto we shall not be liable for consequential or other damages howsoever arising, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence not excluded. There is no responsibility by the owners taken for parking on site, this is at your own risk.
Dogs are welcome at The Beach Huts but must be under proper control at ALL times, we ask that owners keep them off ALL furniture..
Traces of your dog must be removed before departure.
NO PETS ARE PERMITTED OTHER THAN DOGS.
Dogs must NOT be left at the property unattended unless crated..
Guests must bring all dog bedding and towels for drying their pet when required.
Owners will be responsible for ALL damage caused by their dog above the damage deposit and the removal of ‘mess’ from the area around.
Dogs must be kept on a lead outside in the park at all times.
Only 2 small dogs or 1 medium size dog are allowed unless by arrangement only.
There is a charge for dogs of £20 per dog per stay.
There are BBQs available for all our guests that stay at The Beach Huts.
PLEASE UNLOCK THE BBQ FROM BEHIND THE HUT AND USE AT THE FRONT AT LEAST 3 METERS FROM THE HUT FOR FIRE SAFETY.
Once cooled down the BBQ must returned and locked up back behind the hut.
The BBQ must be left in the clean condition you find it, and ready for the next guest.
You will be charged a fee by our cleaners of £12 which will come from your damage deposit if this is not done.
There is wifi available on the park through a separate service called Wifinity but this is not always reliable. The owners of the beach huts are not in anyway responsible for any wifi problems guests may have and this must be taken up with the Park or Wifinity themselves.
Right of Entry
The owners/housekeeper shall be allowed the right of entry to the property at all reasonable times for purposes of inspection or to carry out any necessary repairs or maintenance.
By agreeing to the terms and conditions your email address will be automatically added to our quarterly newsletter. The list will not be sold to any third party and solely used for updating you on any news or events from The Beach Huts. The Beach Huts do not accept any liability for other guests from the holiday park.
The parks facilities and entertainment are out of our control and we are not responsible for any cancellations or changes to their schedules.
These are privately owned chalets and therefore other guests actions are to be dealt with by Park Resorts security or reception.
No refunds will be given due to any issues with the Park.. This must be taken up with reception,
The Beach Huts do not accept any responsibility for building work carried out on the park.
As with any street or area there is always going to be an element of refurbishment.
Occasionally the water and electric are switched off for maintenance and as with any services that carry out these works this is outside of our control so power and water cuts are accepted within the terms of hire.
We are not responsible for bad weather and no refunds will be given due to this.
Electric is included in the rental at The Beach Huts but during the months of October to April there is a £20 per stay heating supplement.
If there is excessive electric used this will be charged.
